Education Loan

Many Indian students find it difficult to arrange the required funds for their studies in the US. Their family may not provide them the entire amount they need, they may not have secured a scholarship or funding from the university. And they may not find funding from any other source, inspite of their best efforts. So what do they do in this situation? Well, an educational loan is the best solution in this situation.

For the past few years the public sector and private sector banks in India have been very liberal towards students going to the U.S. for higher studies. They readily provide loans upto Rs. 20 lacs, if you satisfy their criteria. And you do not need a co-signer if the loan amount is under Rs. 7.5 lacs. So there is no reason for the students who cannot afford American education on their own, to let go of this great opportunity to get an American degree.

All you have to do is approach the nearest branch of banks like SBI, HDFC, ICICI etc. and meet with their student loan representative. If you satisfy their criteria, they will take care of the rest.

The prime object of these low interest and long-term loans is to provide every meritorious student in India an opportunity to pursue higher studies in India & Abroad with the financial support from the banking system with affordable terms and conditions.

For more information on the policies and criteria of individual banks, please click on the bank's logo to the right.
